This 2007 annotation on a powerpoint presentation disseminated by private entities on behalf of the then Professional Regulatory Board of Civil Engineering (PRBoCE) on the subject of the provisions on the signing and sealing of architectural documents under 2004 Revised implementing rules and regulations (IRR) of P.D. No. 1096, the 1977 National Building Code of the Philippines (NBCP), was made by the 2006-12 Professional Regulatory Board of Architecture (PRBoA, the first one reconstituted under R.A. No. 9266, the Architecture Act of 2004), to make known to the general public the matter of the necessary 2006-12 PRBoA clarifications/ rectifications on the subject information then disseminated by the PRBoCE, pursuant to the pertinent provisions of R.A. No. 9266.

This 11 May 2011 letter was sent to the Angeles City local government unit (LGU) by the 2006-12 Professional Regulatory Board of Architecture (PRBoA, the first one reconstituted under R.A. No. 9266, the Architecture Act of 2004), to make known to the Angeles City LGU (then headed by the Hon. Edgardo Pamintuan, City Mayor) the matter of the 2006-12 PRBoA position on the DPWH in Use by LGUs to Contravene R.A. No. 9266 provisions on the signing and sealing of architectural documents by Philippine civil engineers (CEs) and to make an official call to the subject LGU to fully implement and enforce R.A. No. 9266, pursuant to Sec. 44 of the same law.

This 24 July 2007 letter was sent to the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) by the 2006-12 Professional Regulatory Board of Architecture (PRBoA, the first one reconstituted under R.A. No. 9266, the Architecture Act of 2004), to make known to the DPWH, the recognized implementor and enforcer of P.D. No. 1096, the 1977 National Building Code of the Philippines/ NBCP (where the DPWH was then headed by the Hon. Hermogenes Ebdane, Jr. as Secretary), the matter of the 2006-12 PRBoA’s urgent call/ request for the subject national agency to fully implement and enforce R.A. No. 9266, pursuant to Sec. 44 of the same law. This was part of the series of unresponded 2006-12 PRBoA official communications to the DPWH, which became the bases for the filing of 2 Ombudsman complaints (later consolidated in late 2009) against then DPWH Secretary Ebdane.

This 01 June 2007 letter was sent to Mega Magazine & Publications, Inc. (MMPI) by the 2006-12 Professional Regulatory Board of Architecture (PRBoA, the first one reconstituted under R.A. No. 9266, the Architecture Act of 2004), to make known to the MMPI (then headed by Mr. R,J. Ledesma, Editor-in-chief) the matter of the 2006-12 PRBoA response to an article appearing in the MMPI Manual magazine. The 2006-12 PRBoA advised the MMPI that the subject of the article is not a registered and licensed architect (RLA) and requested the MMPI to first check with the pertinent regulatory offices before publishing similar information.
